Frequently asked questions

About my Art

What does art mean to you?

Art is my sanctuary — a space where I disconnect from the outside world and reconnect with my inner self. Each painting is an invitation to pause, feel, and discover a deeper sense of connection and beauty.

What inspires your paintings?

My inspiration flows from both my surroundings and my inner world — from nature, the animal kingdom, and the landscapes within..

What mediums do you use?

I usually start with acrylic and mixed media and finish with oil. Occasionally, I create a painting using only acrylic or only oil.

Do you focus on a specific style?

I love exploring different techniques and styles rather than being defined by one. My work moves freely between abstraction and figuration and often blends the two — allowing each piece to unfold naturally.

Commissions

Do you accept commissions?

Yes, I do. I enjoy creating works that hold personal meaning for others, often inspired by a feeling, story, or connection to nature or animals.

How does the process work?

We start with a conversation about your vision. Once we align on size, colors, and mood, I share a quote and timeline, and keep you updated as the painting evolves.

How long does a commission take?

Depending on the painting, the process usually takes 3–8 weeks.

Can I request changes during the process?

I welcome early feedback, but once the painting develops, I let intuition guide the rest of the process

Originals, Prints & Shipping

Are your originals for sale?

Yes, I currently sell original paintings locally, in Egypt or Switzerland. You’re welcome to contact me directly for availability and details.

Do you offer prints?

Not at the moment. I may offer fine art prints in the future once production and shipping logistics allow.

How do you handle shipping?

For now, I focus on local sales and hand delivery or local pickup. International shipping from Egypt is complex and requires government authorisation, so I prefer to ensure each piece travels safely and personally.

Other Questions

What is the “painting by feelings” method?

It’s an intuitive way of painting that invites you to let go of control and create from intuition rather than emotion. By allowing what wants to emerge to take shape naturally, painting becomes a meditative and liberating process guided by inner flow and presence.

Can I visit your studio?

My studio isn’t open to the public, but I often share glimpses of my process, materials, and works in progress on Instagram.
